If you’re like me you love shoes but find it so impossible to put heels on these days. Especially being a mom, it’s seriously not happening! But wearing “mom” shoes doesn’t mean you can’t wear all the cute fall trends. Moms can be chic and stylish and still get everything done.

Pointy Slides

Ulla Johnson is one of my favorite designers. I live in her dresses and fell in love with these shoes the minute I saw them! The pointy slide is the must have shoe for fall and this blush color will serve as a neutral and pair with anything in your wardrobe. This is a great transitional shoe that will definitely go into spring.

Leopard Pumps

This fall season we’re seeing a lot of leopard, especially in accessories. These Aquazzura pumps are great for girl’s dinner, date night, or even pair with jeans and a t-shirt during the day for meetings. Think of them as a neutral and pair them with any color or print.

Stretch Booties

A stretch ankle bootie is the perfect piece to update your wardrobe for fall. This is a great shoe that can go day to night and you won’t want to take them off all season! They can be worn to the office or dropping the kids off for school. Don’t be turned off by the high ankle, these are surprisingly flattering.

Over the Knee Boot

Yes you can be a mom and wear over the knee boots! I like suede over the knee boots rather than leather so they aren’t as aggressive and are a bit more wearable. Pair them casually with a sweater and jeans during the day and dress them up at night with a blouse or cute dress. The key is the lower heel so they aren’t too overwhelming.

Sneakers are very much here to stay and let’s face it most of us moms live in them. I’m always searching for comfort but still want my sneakers to be stylish. Puma has the cutest sneakers this season and I love this Bordeaux color. These are a great alternative to the Adidas shell toe everyone has been wearing.

Pointy Flat

A black flat is a must have in every women’s closet. I like that this isn’t your typical boring black ballet flat with the pointed toe and ankle strap. You will last all day in these with the little heel for support and I love the silver beads to give it a little more edge.

Velvet Pump

Velvet is probably the biggest trend for fall and it’s everywhere! Rather than wearing a velvet top or dress, opt for a shoe instead. Velvet accessories are a much more interesting and understated way to wear this trend.

Bow Mule

This is the perfect date night shoe without having to wear a super high heel. I love my husband and want to look sexy on date night but not enough to be in pain all night, ha! The chunky heel makes them wearable for hours while still giving you the sexy height.

Chunky Kitten Heels

Hallelujah! Kitten heels are back! I think all moms secretly hope for the kitten heel trend to return so they don’t have to suffer in heels. This shoe you can wear to work with a suit or pair with jeans and t-shirt on the weekends. I love how the chunky heel makes them look fresh and modern.

Winter Sandal

A winter sandal is a great alternative to a sneaker and just as comfy! For those of us in LA we can wear sandals all year round so these furry slides are great for those early morning kid drop offs. The fur makes them a little more stylish so you can get away with wearing them to run errands or maybe happy hour drinks with the girls! Pair with jeans and blouse to make them look intentional and not like house slippers.
